   In favor of the right to decide of the peoples;

   As much as you send against us

   your imperial troops and legions.

   No matter how much you send your tanks and planes

   to quell our peaceful protest,

   this land will never be yours.

   As much as you come from distant continents,

   following the course of the seas, rivers and tributaries.

   However much you approach other nations

   with exotic presents, with good intentions

   and exquisite manners, do not give yourself illusions;

   this land will never be yours.

   No matter how much you place your kings

   in the position of our elected leaders.

   However much you drop our laws one by one

   in favor of your decadent customs,

   this land will never be yours.

   No matter how much you enter with your military forces

   getting praise at every step, victorious.

   As much as you remember on the altars

   your most glorious days of conquest,

   this land will never be yours.

   However much you redouble your efforts

   to provoke in our ranks the rupture.

   However much you infiltrate our structure

   with an army of spies and reinforcement agents,

   this land will never be yours.

   However much you censor our culture and our language

   through your illegitimate actions.

   As much as you reject the figure of a truce

   and demand our surrender without conditions,

   this land will never be yours.

   As much as you wish to blood and fire

   bend the will of our people and then

   through the continued use of brute force

   establish the most absolute repression,

   from us you will not get another answer;

   this land will always be ours.
